Assembly of carbide nanostructures at low temperature
Guozhen Shen, Kaibin Tang, Yitai Qian and Di Chen
International Journal of Nanotechnology, 2004, 1, 366. (invited review paper)

Biographical notes: Guozhen Shen was born in Bengbu, P.R. China in 1976. He received his BSc degree from Anhui Normal University in 1999. He is now a PhD candidate under the direction of Pr. Qian Yitai and Dr. Tang Kaibin. He worked mainly on the assembly of carbide nanostructures at low temperature and the synthesis and characterization of chalcogenides and related materials via soft chemical routes.

Recent developments in single-crystal inorganic nanotubes synthesised from removable templates
Guozhen Shen*, Yoshio Bando and Dmitri Golberg
International Journal of Nanotechnology, 2007, 4, 730. (invited review paper)

Biographical notes: Guozhen Shen received a BS Degree in ChemicalEducation from Anhui Normal University in 1999, and a PhD Degree in Chemistry (with Professor Yitai Qian) from University of Science and Technology of China, and then he worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Hanyang University, Korea. He joined National Institute for Materials Science as a postdoctoral researcher in 2005. His most recent research interests include fabrication of semiconductor nanowires, nanotubes, and 1-D heterostructures; nanoelectronics, and devices applications of semiconductor nanowires like  Field Effect Transistors (FET) for biosensing. He has authored and co-authored over 80 journal papers, eight review papers and book chapters, and holds three
issued Japan patents.
