英文刊名缩写对照

以前还用手工检索的时候，老师在课堂上讲：期刊的缩写和全称转换字典（两本）是经常要用到的工具。它们常被放到图书馆工具书架的最显眼位置和检索室工作人员的案头。
在运用网络数据库检索的时代里，有一些人喜欢用文章名或主题词检索，由于此种非规范性的输入，往往造成漏检或结果太多。
在运用著者（注意：应是第一著者）and 刊名 组合检索时，会因为刊名截词不当漏检（多数情况如此）。
因此，有必要对研究机构、研究团队或个人所发表的刊物名称给与标准的缩写规范。
这样，可以将它们分别用"or"连接，组成用于限制“刊名”字段检索的标准式。
一劳永逸。
