[转载]热点专题 | 第三种碳:一维碳链材料

为展现国内外在一维碳链材料研究的最新研究进展,促进国内外相关研究并推动合作交流,“Chinese Physics B”(CPB)编辑部邀请杨国伟和石磊两位老师担任客座编辑,组织了“The third carbon: Carbyne with one-dimensional sp-carbon”专题,敬请关注!

碳原子有4个未成对的价电子,电子轨道杂化从sp3、sp2到sp,因此可以形成碳碳三键、双键和单键,从而导致碳单质拥有多种同素异形体,结构从三维、二维到一维,导电性能则从导体、半导体到绝缘体。其中,一维碳链是唯一一种sp杂化的碳的同素异形体,曾经被称为继石墨、金刚石之后的“第三种碳”。并且已有理论预言, 一维碳链具有比二维石墨烯和准一维碳纳米管更强的力学性能和更好的导热性能,还具有可调的带隙、室温磁性和高温超导等优越的性能。


关于碳链的研究虽然始于十九世纪末,但是近年来方兴未艾,先后已有一系列里程碑式的研究成果被报道。例如:制备最长碳链、实现碳链晶体的合成、证实碳炔的存在、直接观测到碳环[18]的结构,等等。这预示着一维碳链正逐渐成为碳材料中又一种广受关注的明星材料。


本专题收录了国内外有关一维碳链研究的最新成果,研究对象包括线性碳链、环状碳链、氮掺杂碳链、金属化碳链等多种碳链类型;制备方法包括电弧法、激光液相溶蚀法、限域合成法、表面化学法等;表征方面涉及共聚焦/近场拉曼光谱、扫描隧道显微镜等方法;另外还包括对其准粒子带隙、力学性能、自旋输运等方面的理论计算研究。希望本专题能够对国内外研究同行有所帮助和启示,促进该领域的合作交流与发展。
