Image Description:
This image shows a sugar structure acquired by atomic force microscope techniques. I tried do get an image of phages which are usually stored in a nutrient solution containing sugar. The sample was dried for a few minutes, the sugar crystallized out and built this kind of branches. The yellow spot on the image is an unknown contamination of the sample.
