Abstract :The research methods in sci - tech spreading are used to re - appreciate the agro - forest ry
content s , academic values and social position of theJournal of Beiz hi A gricul t ural Science. It isconcluded that this journal is one of the only two agricultural journals published by Chinese collegesin late Qing Dynasty , and is the earliest agricultural journal in the dry farming regions of North China. The journal is confirmed as a withess of the int roduction process of agricultural sciences f romwestern count ries to China through J apan in modern times. The int roduced agricultural sciences are
found to be systematized , especially in the technologies of beer - making in the West , rice production in North America , seed selection in J apan. It also int roduced systematically the agricultural education systems of russia , together with the pracices of crop int roduction , manufacture , exhibition ,sericulture , silviculture , etc. Therefore , the journal ,Beiz hi A gricul t ural Science, stood as the pioneer in agro - forest ry technology int roduction f rom western count ries to China.
