I have many years of research experience in the field of nonlinear dynamics
of mechanical systems. I have published several highly cited papers in the
past few years.

If possible, I would like to further extend the scope of my service to the
academic community by acting as a reviewer for the Journal of Nonlinear
Dynamics and Chaos. I will be more than happy to review new submissions to
this journal.

我查阅了这个来信的老外的发表论文记录和教育科研背景，对照了来信的老外的简历，就立即回复说非常乐意给其注册审稿人账号，并感谢对我们期刊的支持。

 上面是我担任期刊编辑16个月以来的处理记录，可以看到仍然有6个稿件审稿严重滞后，我本人催促和系统自动催促都没反应。小木虫上一些新虫子发帖子问如何成为审稿人，包括成为国家基金函评专家。一般而言，要成为各类评阅人和评审专家，需要在本领域有一定的积累和声望。只要你发表过相关文章，愿意成为审稿人，一方面编辑会根据你的文章中电子邮件找到你，另一方面，自己也可以自荐到期刊当审稿人，犹如一些期刊允许研究人员自荐为普通学术编辑一样。

     只要抱着积极的态度，认真去做事，最终会获得尊重，虽然这需要一个过程。

 最后，再给我们期刊做下广告，虽然很多人讨厌谈及影响因子，影响因子也有弊端，但侧面也是表征期刊平均水平的一个尺子，估算期刊今年影响因子会达到2.92。
