现代通识与通识科学

摘 要
知识普及、科技普及、教育普及和劳动普及，为现代社会的普遍特征。溯其根源，是近代以来的科学发展支配了这一切。近代以来的科学，特别是现代科学，造就了人类新的观念、新的精神和新的劳动生产力。作为新的生产力，科学技术的发展直接造就了新的劳动者。这些新劳动者的高智慧和高效率，正逐步成为创造全社会物资和精神的主体。知识经济时代已经到来。认识现代社会的一般发展趋势，加深理解现代科学的基本作用，坚定地崇尚科学，迅速地发展高等教育，已经成为当今的世界性共识。

The Modern Liberal Education and General Feat of Science

Abstract Knowledge being popularized, sciences being popularized, education being popularized and laborer being popularized，all of them are the general characteristics of the modern society. Reviewing the root, the development of the sciences from the modern times dominated them. The sciences from the modern times, especially the sciences in today bring up new ideas, new minds, and new productive forces in human society. As the new productive forces, the development of sciences and technology directly bring up the new laborers. The new laborers have high intelligences and high productivity. They are becoming the main body in producing the goods and materials and in producing the minds in human society. The times of economy based knowledge has come. Understanding the general trend of development in the modern society, deeply understanding the basic effect of modern sciences, confirmedly advocating to the sciences, and rapidly developing the higher education have being become the common view in the modern world.
