火是什么? 回答老镜先生

Mirror(老镜,镜仙)先生提出了一个问题:“火是什么?” 鬼王李亚辉认为这是一个令人误入歧途的问题。引起了大家的思考。详情见鬼王博文:

王修慧先生对这个问题进行了回答:

最后的结论是: 什么是火?火是一种部分电离、能发光放热的、能导电的高温气体混合物——或曰半等离子体!我觉得王先生真的被误入歧途了。他回答的是什么是火焰的问题。

就我个人观点来说,火是人类很早就有的概念。要回答这个问题,需要从人们在日常生活中对火这个词的使用情况回答。我的回答是:
火是人类可以感知的燃烧现象。为什么这样说呢,火肯定与燃烧有关,没有燃烧就没有火。人类可以感知的燃烧现象,意味着人类可以看得见。有火苗是火,有冒烟现象也是火,没有火苗没有冒烟只有火炭在燃烧也是火。 火没有明确的物理定义和化学定义,是很早就存在于人类生活中的一个概念。

火的英文单词是FIRE。我们看看英文字典是怎么解释的?

仔细看英文解释第1条和第2条,从上述解释可以看出,火的基本意义是指一种燃烧现象。

还有其它英文字典,其解释是类似的。

由此可以看出,搞清楚概念很重要。 如果我们概念都不明确就回答问题,容易南辕北辙。

此外,由于现代科学的历史不长,人类常用的很多概念和表达按照现代科学认知是完全错误的。我列出一些词语和表达:
彩虹、蓝色的大海、蓝天、
太阳升起、太阳落山、心爱的人、心肝宝贝、
黄金、火山、白衣等等。
