The position of Postdoctoral Research Fellow is in the area of semiconductor characterisation using advanced electron microscopy as part of Professor Jin Zou’s newest Australian Research Council (ARC) Discovery Project which commences in 2011.
The role: The primary role is to understand the evolution of semiconductor nanostructures and to correlate structure-property links through detailed nanostructural and nanochemical characterisation using advanced electron microscopy.
The person: The successful applicant must have (or have submitted prior to taking up the position) a PhD in the fields of materials science, engineering, physics or chemistry with solid fundamental knowledge and practical skills in advanced electron microscopy. Remuneration: The remuneration package will be in the range $67,958 to $72,949 per annum, plus employer superannuation contributions of 17%. This is a full-time, fixed term appointment for up to three years at Research Academic Level A.
