What I want to say is that the currency exchange rate is indeed a macroeconomic issue, as stated by Director-General Pascal Lamy. The US Senate’s currency legislation is rather too simple for settling its huge trade deficit with solely keeping sight on Chinese Yuan (Renminbi),which is like asserting “I have repaired my house” after hammering a single nail. In fact, the definition of so-called “currency manipulation” in China should be replaced by a statement of "taking no powerful action against Renminbi’s stability", and more seriously, the US Senate is teaching Chinese how to use the exchange rate to promote its exportation.
