一次“被追星”经历

曾经有过一次“被追星”经历。
先说明一下，所谓被追星不是说被别人追星，而是被动追星。而“星”则是学术大牛，而不是娱乐圈之“星”。
毕业后刚到海大，恰逢海大举办分子会议。于是被派去会上帮忙。
分子会议请了一些大牛，其中有几位诺奖得主。
不过，我素无追“星”之好。你牛你的，我也没必要非要找你合影什么的。找牛人合影又不能让我变牛，是不是。不过，那次分子会议上，倒是被动的和一位诺奖得主合影一张。
具体是哪一天记不得了。只记得是下午，在会务室帮了一下午忙，到了该吃晚饭的时间。刚走到大厅，就看到楼下的大厅里，同办公室的曹老师在贴poster。打了一声招呼，结果曹老师让我帮她贴一下。贴完poster，和曹老师一起上楼。在电梯口遇到冯老师。冯老师让曹等她一会儿，她上去接Kohn。我不知什么事儿，曹老师让我一起等。原来，冯老师负责陪同Kohn，曹老师请她帮忙，看能不能和Kohn合影。对于这种事儿，虽然不主动去追“星”，但也没有说到“反感”的程度。遇到了，合影也不是什么坏事儿，是不是？于是，等着。冯老师接Kohn下来后，和我们说，已经和Kohn沟通过了，可以合影。于是合影留念。我也被动追星一次。
那么，Kohn是谁呢？就是搞密度泛函的那位。印象中他是98年的物理诺奖得主（查完维基百科，发现我的记忆不对。他是化学奖得主。这也算是一种记忆偏差或者偏见吧，我印象中他是搞物理的，就认为他得到的是物理奖）。当时我还在读硕士，导师还有组里好几位老师都是搞物理的，听他们聊起过。谁知，到02年居然和他合影，也算是有缘分。

Walter Kohn (born March 9, 1923, in Vienna, Austria) is an Austrian-born American theoretical physicist. He was awarded, with John Pople, the Nobel Prize in chemistry in 1998.[1] The award recognized their contributions to the understandings of the electronic properties of materials. In particular, Kohn played the leading role in the development of density functional theory, which made it possible to incorporate quantum mechanical effects in the electronic density (rather than through its many-body wavefunction). This computational simplification led to many insights and became an essential tool for electronic materials, atomic and molecular structure.
