Mac one-to-one lesson (3): save a file to a sub-folder

I am sure you all know how, but it took me three days to learn how. Before today, I first saved the file on the desktop, and then dragged it to where I wanted it to be. The good thing is the Apple store is right across the street.

To use up my 25 mins with my trainer, I asked her to walk me through each item under "System Preferences." We only did six today. It was not a waste of time since some manufactory settings were not good.

Tricks:

1) To close a Tab: Instead of using your right hand to click off a Tab, use "Command"+w. (This is important for me, since my right hand is over worked.)
