在全球流行病学的转型期，越来越多的关注点聚集在肝脏疾病的研究上，它被认为是导致发病率和死亡率上升的主要原因。
为了应对由肝脏疾病所加剧的诊疗负担，医学工作者迫切需要找到一套有效防御疾病、精准诊断和适当治疗的新策略。
在此背景下，Global Transitions开设了以Liver Health为主题的特刊，本特刊重点介绍改善肝脏健康的创新技术和有据可依的发展方向。

Pathophysiology and diagnosis of liver diseases such as hepatitis, cirrhosis, and liver cancer

Therapeutic approaches for the treatment of liver diseases, including pharmacological, surgical, and non-invasive methods
Pre-clinical and clinical evaluation of drug therapies for liver diseases, including safety and efficacy assessments
