简介:The artist fractured a nanomaterial in Liquid Nitrogen. The fracture surface is visualized with a scanning electron microscope. The monochromatic electron scan has been painted and manipulated digitally. The final image is printed on canvas with long-lasting (archival) inks. The depth and three dimensions achieved in NanoArt sets this process of electron imaging apart from Photography, where images are created by photons (particles of light) rather than by electrons (electrically charged particles) as in NanoArt. The electrons penetrate deeper in the structure creating images with more depth, more natural 3D look than the photographic images. This artwork can be printed by request in a larger size on fine art paper or canvas - contact the artist for details. All prints are signed and numbered by the artist.
