The "flower" is CH3NH3Pbl3 perovskite crystal grown on muscovite mica substrate. The material is a very hot solar cell material recently with the fastest-grown solar conversion efficiency comparing to other solar cells reaching 20% from 4% in only 5 years. It is considered as one of the most promising materials for solar technology.
