《Information and Organization》 Top 25
(摘自: http://www.info.sciverse.com/sciencedirect/using/Make-ScienceDirect-yours/top25/ ) Keep track of the latest trends and discover what your peers and colleagues are reading with ScienceDirect’s free TOP25 Hottest Articles alerting service. The Top25 allows you to see which articles have been downloaded the most, either from any of the 24 subject areas and/or from any of the 2,500 journals on ScienceDirect. Sign me up for the Top 25 ScienceDirect has nearly 11 million regular users which means that the Top25 lists provide an authoritative reflection of readership habits. These reports are generated quarterly, in order to truly reflect usage patterns. The Top25 is based on usage behaviour from the prior three months. So the Top25 lists published in September represent results of ScienceDirect usage during April, May and June of that year. Please note that the Top25 is generated solely from usage of ScienceDirect online. Articles in Press All articles are included in Top25 lists, including Articles in Press. This means that because Articles in Press are available online in ScienceDirect before their print publication, Top25 lists may include articles which have only just been published in the print journals. For example: Top25 lists generated from April - June usage data, will contain articles with publication dates of September. Go to Top25 Note for Authors We receive many requests from authors for information on the specific number of downloads for their articles; unfortunately, it is not ScienceDirect policy to provide this data. In addition, the Top25 service is not intended to infer any sort of preferential ranking to the journals, articles or subjects included, and should not be used as such, other than to present a general indicator of the readership behaviour of our users.
