2020.05.04 今天是校庆的大日子, COVID19 的阴霾尚未完全散去,我们大家只能在网上云庆祝了,在这个特别的日子里,希望跟各位远在天边的同学们说句话: 评选优秀不重要,让自己优秀最重要! 人生总会遇到各种问题、各种评比,不记得是哪位哲人说过: 只要是有人参与的事都很难做到绝对公平 。评选各种优秀更是仁者见仁智者见智,结果总是会有各种争议,即使是众目睽睽之下向全世界转播的奥运会比赛也有各种不可理喻的结果发生:最为让世人震惊的就是 1988 年汉城冬奥会上的拳击比赛: 71 公斤级拳击的四分之一决赛,韩国拳手朴熙洪对阵德国拳手 Vincenzo Nardiello , Nardiello 明显占了上风,但 5 名裁判最后却以 3-2 判定他输给了朴熙洪。当时观众席上嘘声不断,就连意大利的电视广播员也在直播时惊呼:不可能啊!这位倔强的拳手听到比分后,直接冲到裁判席上,试图想讨个说法,然而,裁判却依旧坚定自己的判罚,在巨大的失望和气愤中, Nardiello 崩溃地瘫倒在地上,泪流满面。 到了决赛的赛场上, 19 岁的美国拳坛新秀 Jones 对战韩国拳手朴熙洪。从开始到结束, Jones 都占有绝对优势,他连连进攻,朴熙洪招架吃力,甚至还 2 次被打翻在地,裁判数到第 8 秒他才勉强爬起来,还击更是想都别想。据统计,那场对决中, Jones 有效击中 86 次,朴熙洪只有 32 次,连 Jones 的一半都不到。当时,令人瞠目结舌的一幕发生了,在场的 5 名裁判依旧以 3-2 判定朴熙洪胜出, Jones 只拿到银牌。 所以,看到这样的“标杆事件”大家就能够明白这句话“ 只要是有人参与的事都很难做到绝对公平 ”真的是真理,所以在成长的过程中遇到各种各样的评比结果不如人意、无法解释,也就释怀了: 不需要过分去计较是否被“评”上了优秀和先进,最重要的是要以此激励自己更加努力、让自己更优秀,这才是硬道理。 如果可能,大家去找一下 2018 年 2 月 23 日平昌冬奥会上武大靖在 500 米短道速滑比赛的视频,在中国队之前无数次被裁判判罚出局、拉倒等等不利的情况下,看看武大靖是怎么夺冠的?他从开始就一路领滑,根本就没有给对手任何可能拉到衣襟、脚下使绊子的机会!这才是硬实力! 今天是校庆,无论将来你们走多远这里都是关心你们爱护你们的家,也许你今天从这里走出去的时候不是它的优秀毕业生,但是我希望你记住,人生才刚刚起步: 你要在意的不是今天是否优秀, 而是要持续努力让自己变得优秀, 尽一生的努力让自己成为北大的杰出校友!
