在Aeternity的官博（ https://blog.aeternity.com/state-of-development-week-of-march-5th-2018-ea50dcc35950 ）中提到了共识算法可能参考Bitcoin-NG算法（白皮书， https://www.usenix.org/system/files/conference/nsdi16/nsdi16-paper-eyal.pdf ），在直播开发网站也有bitcoin-ng标签；Bitcoin-NG白皮书结论中提到，Bitcoin-NG shows that it is possible to improve the scalability of blockchain protocols to the point where the consensus latency is limited solely by the network diameter and the throughput bottleneck lies only in node processing power；意味着理论上存在高速交易和安全性不冲突的可能性。 实际上在2015年比特币开发者第一次聚会上，为了扩容提速，来自康奈尔大学计算机科学专业的Ittay Eyal等人提出了Bitcoin-NG（ http://www.8btc.com/scaling-bitcoin-1 ）方案，一个重要思路就是将传统的比特币挖矿出块细分为关键块（keyblocks，和传统出块时间一样，10分钟，为了保证系统安全性）和微块（microblocks，出块时间10秒，为了提升交易速度），这个方案很快也被中国社区关注： http://www.8btc.com/bitcoin-ng ，随后也对其白皮书做了翻译： http://www.8btc.com/bitcoin-ng-2 。 只是源于比特币社区的作风，这类技术基本是就此搁置。这次AE在共识算法的选择上，应该会重点参考Bitcoin-NG，值得期待。
