王应宽 Wang Yingkuan Beijing, China 2018-06-26 JCR 2017 完整报告文后可免费下载 《国际农业与生物工程学报》 (IJABE)在JCR2017中的 最新影响因子为 1.267 2018 年6月26日美国费城电, 根据科睿智唯安发布的2018期刊引证报告(Journal Citation Reports ® ,JCR 2017),开放存取(OA)国际英文刊International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering(IJABE,《国际农业与生物工程学报》)最新影响因子(Journal Impact Factor, JIF)再次突破1,达到1.267,在全球被SCI收录的14种农业工程类期刊中排名第八;在被SCI收录的3种亚洲农业工程期刊中排名第一。 IJABE 是一本中美合作的国际英文期刊,系王应宽博士理论联系实际采用开放存取模式创办于2008年,由中国农业工程学会和(美国)海外华人农业、生物与食品工程师协会共同主办,同时出版印刷版和网络版,由国际编委会参与同行评审和指导办刊。 IJABE 从2013年第1期开始被SCI收录,至今仍是中国农业工程领域唯一一本被SCI收录的期刊,为中国农业工程科研成果的发表和国际交流打造了高效的新平台,有利于研究成果的广泛传播与共享。 IJABE 现为双月刊,每逢单月底出版。现任主编为农业农村部规划设计研究院研究员王应宽博士。自创刊以来,累计收稿4500多篇,已连续出版11卷共49期,累计刊载学术论文800多篇。论文作者来自30多个国家和地区,读者遍及100多个国家和地区,读者对象包括农业、生物与食品工程及相关学科领域的科技、教育、咨询、决策、推广应用等人员。 截至2018年6月11日,据Web of Science统计,IJABE累计刊载论文800多篇,被SCI收录期刊引用2800多次,篇均被引3.42次, h指数18。 另据Scopus发布的2017 SCIMago Journal Ranking排名,IJABE的SJR为0.408,h指数18,在工程(综合类)类期刊和农业与生物科学(综合类)期刊中均位于第二区。CiteScore 2017达到1.44(类似于基于Scopus数据计算的3年影响因子),在177种农业与生物科学类期刊中排44名,在270种工程类期刊中排64名。 资料链接: 科睿唯安 发布了 JCR 2018 (Journal Citation Reports ® , JCR )。 JCR 是目前对评估同行评审刊物最有影响力的资源,也是期刊的年度指标来源,其中包含期刊影响因子( Journal Impact Factors , JIF )。 JCR 的衡量是根据影响力的指标以及 Web of Science TM 的引用数据, Web of Science TM 是业界领先的科学、社会科学、艺术与人文领域引用网络。影响因子( IF )排名则是根据过去两年中平均每篇文章被引次数计算出来的。 2018 的报告提供从 2017 年数据中计算出来的影响力指标,完整的报告包含 80 个国家的 11,655 份期刊,涵盖自然科学和社会科学中的 234 个学科领域。这次的名单中新增了 276 种期刊,它们第一次有 JIF 。 CA:A Cancer Journal for Clinicians 拥有最高的影响因子,高达 244.585 ;Nature 影响因子为41.577,Science也不甘示弱,JIF达到41.058。Cell的JIF 下降到31.398. 中国的Cell Research的影响因子达到15.393。另一方面, Living Reviews in Relativity 则是开放存取期刊中 JIF 最高的,达到 23.333 。 JCR 这次打压了 20 种期刊,其中 14 种期刊因为自引率过高, 6 种期刊因为疑似不恰当的重复引用,希望它们改善报告诚信,经过一年的观察期后,下年再重新评估。报告中涉及 6400万 篇文献,其中 1000 万篇用于影响因子的计算。 Journal Citation Report-JCR 2017.xlsx (JCR2017 报告可下载) 2018 JCR AE category (2017 citation metrics).xlsx (14种农业工程类期刊引证指标,可下载) 2018 Ag Engr journal CiteScore trends.xlsx

王应宽 Wang Yingkuan Beijing, China 2014-03-15 开放存取英文刊 IJABE 国际化网络化办刊策略与启示 王应宽 1) ,时秀焕 1) ,吴卓晶 1) , Paul Chen 2) , RogerRuan 2) ,朱 明 1) 1) 农业部规划设计研究院 100125 ;北京朝阳区麦子店街 41 号《国际农业与生物工程学报》编辑部, Email : wangyingkuan@163.com 2) University of Minnesota,St Paul, MN 55108, USA 摘 要: 为探索网络信息时代创办 OA 期刊及其国际化的途径,结合中国农业与生物工程领域第一本真正意义上的 OA 学术期刊 InternationalJournal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering (IJABE, www.ijabe.org) 的发展历程 , 从以下方面阐述了 OA 期刊国际化网络化办刊实践与经验:刊名与域名的确定、主编的遴选、办刊宗旨及栏目设置、国际化编委会、国际化的同行评审、期刊网站的建设、远程期刊管理系统 OJS 的特点及客户化、办刊经费的筹集、办刊与办会有机结合的策略、以论文质量为核心的品牌化策略、以网络在线版为主纸质印刷版为辅的出版策略、全文即时 OA 策略、“推拉式”期刊宣传推广策略、编者 - 审者 - 作者团队的培养、积极与国际知名检索系统沟通争取被国际知名数据库收录等。最后提出了 IJABE 发展中存在的问题和下一步的设想及努力方向。 关键词: 开放存取 开放存取期刊 国际英文刊 IJABE 国际化 网络化 经营模式 1 引 言 开放存取( Open Access, OA )是国际科技界、学术界、出版界、信息传播界为推动科研成果通过网络自由传播和使用而发起的运动。自 20 世纪 90 年代初出现以来,国外学者从不同的视野和层面对 OA 进行了较为系统深入的研究,发表的研究论文、综述、报告、评论、博文等已近万篇,提出了许多切实可行的 OA 方案或模型,解决了许多问题,这都为研究 OA 出版提供了较为丰富的文献信息,也为推动 OA 运动的发展奠定了基础 。虽然国内对 OA 的研究也不少,但大多处于关注或跟进阶段,所发表的数百篇文章也大都是介绍国外 OA 的研究情况,或就某些特定问题进行探讨,鲜有针对中国科技期刊的实际进行 OA 期刊出版模式或 OA 文献共享共用效果方面进行系统深入的研究。中国期刊界正在推进国际化办刊,特别是英文期刊,如 Journal of Integrative Plant Biology 、 Molecular Plant (《分子植物》) 、 Journal of Environmental Sciences 、 Chinese Chemical Letters 、《材料科学技术 ( 英文版 ) 》 等,在“借船出海”推进国际化办刊方面进行了有益的探索,也取得了可喜的成绩,值得学习借鉴。但理论结合实际,在中国创办 OA 期刊并开展国际化网络化办刊实践的并不多见。 当前,随着 OA 运动的开展, OA 期刊出版蓬勃发展,数量大幅增长,质量稳步提升。 OA 出版的最基本特征为信息数字化、在线出版传播、免费获取(全文)和赋予用户宽泛的使用权限。截至 2013 年 8 月 3 日 , Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) 数据库显示, 国际 OA 期刊数量高达 9940 种 , 广泛分布于 120 多个国家, 超过百万篇文章发表在 OA 期刊 。 据统计,截至 2011 年底已经被 SCI 收录的 OA 期刊达 619 种 。随着开放存取在全球的发展,其影响日益扩大,逐渐被学术界认可和接受,成为学术文献生产和传播的重要方式。在此背景下,创办 OA 期刊,或者把传统付费阅读期刊转变成 OA 期刊成为发展趋势。 International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering ( IJABE, 《国际农业与生物工程学报》) 就是在理论联系实际基础上创办的一种创建型 OA 期刊,是国内较早创办并快速发展为品牌期刊的成功案例。本文详细介绍 IJABE 的创办背景、办刊策略以及实践经验。 IJABE 作为国内为数极少的创建型 OA 期刊,其开放存取途径、快速成长经验、经营模式以及国际化网络化发展策略,有望为同行创办 OA 期刊提供借鉴、理论依据和实践参考。 2 IJABE 的创刊背景和取得的初步成效 网络化和开放存取的发展对期刊出版方式具有催化作用。期刊主创人员王应宽博士自 2003 年开始跟踪研究 OA 。在北京大学攻读博士期间,以“中国科技学术期刊的开放存取出版研究”为题 ,对 OA 进行了较为系统深入研究,在中国期刊 OA 出版模式的探索中取得丰富的理论研究成果 。在 OA 期刊蓬勃发展的大背景下,由王应宽博士倡导发起,于 2008 年理论联系实际创办了中国农业工程学科领域第一本创建型 OA 期刊。 IJABE 由中国农业工程学会( CSAE )和美国海外华人农业生物与食品工程师协会( AOCABFE )共同主办,探索出一种与国外学术团体合作,“借船出海”创办 OA 期刊的新模式。 AOCABFE 集合了大批旅居海外的优秀华人科学家 , 为期刊提供学术把关和智力支持,协助征集高质量论文,帮助在海外宣传和推广期刊。 CSAE 及其挂靠单位农业部规划设计研究院主要协助筹集办刊经费、提供办公场所、解决办公设备、人力资源等,同时团结和组织国内农业工程界的专家学者参与支持办刊。总之,主办单位集合了国内外农业工程界一流的专家学者,两个学会的密切合作,为办刊提供了良好的学术资源和办刊条件。创办农业工程国际英文刊既能够满足国内专家发表高水平学术论文和走向国际的现实需要,也填补了中国农业工程领域国际英文刊的空白,还将在促进该领域的国际学术交流合作中发挥越来越重要的作用。 IJABE 的创办具有重要意义,被认为是中国农业工程学科里的一件大事,被写入《农业工程学科发展报告 (2010-2011) 》中。当前,国外出版商纷纷进入中国,与中国期刊开展合作。中国期刊也寄希望于与大型出版商合作,借用其平台和渠道, “ 借船出海 ” ,实现国际化发展。目前,中国英文期刊的国际合作大多采用与国外大型出版商合作的形式 。但本刊 IJABE 所探索走出的是一条有别于同大型商业出版商合作的“借船出海”的办刊之路。 IJABE 与国外学术团体合作办刊,在学术内容出版、版权、经营管理等方面具有更大的自主权和灵活性。 3 IJABE 的办刊策略和实践经验 3.1 IJABE 的期刊定位与开放存取策略 ( 1 )期刊定位 IJABE 的办刊宗旨和目标是为国内外的农业、食品和生物工程师提供学术交流平台,为中国专家学者提供一个国际学术交流的窗口;通过组建国际化的编辑团队和权威编委会,创立并经营国际化知名学术期刊品牌,争取 IJABE 被国际最权威的检索系统 SCI 收录,实现自负盈亏、自我发展,为繁荣学术、激励创新、推动学科发展和科技进步服务。 ...... Open access (OA) means unrestricted online access to peer-reviewedscholarly research. OA literature is free, digital, and available to anyoneonline. An open-access article haslimited copyright and licensing restrictions which means anyone, anywhere, withaccess to the Internet may read, download, copy, and distribute that article. As an OA journal, the papers published inIJABE are freely accessible online immediately upon publication via the IJABE website. With the OA strategy, IJABE can reach abroader spectrum of readership by removing price barriers (subscriptions,licensing fees, pay-per-view fees) that some individual readers may experience. Because open access provides barrier-freeaccess to information, readers and researchers anywhere in the world can readscholarly output that has been made available in an open-access journal. A wider audience, in turn, has the potentialto increase the impact of the research presented in an open-access article;i.e., the more readers, the greater the impact. Many studies indicate that open-accessarticles are more immediately and more frequently cited than non- open-accessarticles. For example, a 2006 study by aUniversity of Southamptonresearcher in the United Kingdom found that authors of OA articlesreceive 50% to 250% more citations. Morerecent research shows that there are different levels of OA citation advantagefor different disciplines: 170% to 580% increase for Physics/Astronomy, 300% to450% increase for Medicine, and 200% to 600% increase for Agriculture. Increased citation rates lead to greaterresearch impact. Therefore, the way tomaximize the impact of your research findings is to maximize the exposure toyour work. Publishing in OA journals is generally recognized as the mostefficient way to maximize your impact. Meanwhile, in order to help to shareknowledge and creativity with the global scientific community and to protectauthors’ intellectual property (as with any scholarly article, traditional orotherwise), authors of an OA article should be properly acknowledged and cited. IJABE adopts the Creative CommonsAttribution 3.0 License (CC-BY3.0) to support these goals. IJABE provides a platform for sharing thelatest high-quality research concerning agricultural, food and biologicalengineering and the application of these engineering techniques in all areas ofagriculture. The journal features worksof great significance, originality, and relevance in all of the primaryareas. Our readers are from theinternational scientific community and include educators, policy makers,agricultural engineers and scientists, and interested members of the publicaround the world. IJABE has establishedstrong quality control in the overall publication process, with the help of aninternational editorial board including over 300 renowned experts from about 50countries and a high-quality editorial team, by performing rigorous peerreview, repeated revision for improvement, professional editing andproofreading, academic misconduct checking such as multiple contributionsof the same manuscript, and checks for fabricated data, falsified results,pleonasm or plagiarizing, and unwarrantable authorship and signature. IJABE has gained great success based onthe above joint efforts. Up to February22, 2014, over 1100 submissions were received from over 20 countries, and sixvolumes with 22 issues and over 220 papers were published. The IJABE website has attracted over 500,000visits from more than 90 countries around the world. Many papers published in IJABE were cited byother prestigious journals including Web of Science™ Core Collection-indexedjournals. To date, the total registeredusers in IJABE database has reached over 10,000. Most importantly, up to February 25, 2014,207 papers published prior to the fourth IJABE issue of 2013 were indexed in ThomsonReuter’s Web of Science™ All Databases category, which were cited 343 timesincluding the top-cited paper which was cited 98 times (which was published inIJABE in 2009). IJABE’s average citationper item was 1.66 and the corresponding h-index was 7. According to the google scholar citations, asof February 23, 2014, the total number of times that IJABE papers were citedreached 938 for the 221 papers published in IJABE (through issue 4 of 2103),with an average citation per item of 4.2. It is especially noteworthy that all the 50papers published in IJABE in 2013 have been indexed by Ei Compendex, with theCompendex abstracted and indexed records uploaded on IJABE website. Let’s look at other indicators. The SCImago Journal Country Rank is aportal that includes the journals and country scientific indicators developedfrom the information contained in the Scopus database (Elsevier B.V.). These indicators can be used to assess andanalyze scientific domains. The SCImago Journal Rank (SJR) indicator, developedby SCImago from the widely known algorithm Google PageRank™, shows thevisibility and impact of the journals contained in the Scopus database. IJABE has been included in Scopus since 2009. According to the latest Journal Rankings bySJR in 2012, IJABE ranked in the second quartile (Q2, 25%-50%) among all thecovered journals in the subject category of both “Engineering (miscellaneous)”and “Agricultural and Biological Sciences (miscellaneous)”. IJABE ranks second and fifth among theScopus-covered journals in the subject categories of “Agricultural andBiological Sciences (miscellaneous)” and “Engineering (miscellaneous)”published in China,respectively. 2010《国际农业与生物工程学报》(IJABE)简报

王 应 宽 2011-01-11 UTC-6 CST UMN, St Paul MN, USA 前几天刚熬夜完成了几期出刊工作,本以为可以松口气,后来又到年终总结,填写各种表格,先是业务总结,后又是党员民主评议等。这些工作都完成了,随着归期临近,感觉可以打包行囊,计划回国行程了,却突然又收到国内发来的邮件,说为更为详实、准确、全面的了解近两年农业工程学科在学科建设、学术成果、人才培养、学术交流及学术刊物等方面情况,为撰写《农业工程学科发展报告( 2010-2011 )》综合报告和专题报告提供更多有价值的信息,请填写《农业工程学科发展报告综合报告数据调查表( 2010-2011 年)》。我被要求提供我所负责的 3 本国际英文期刊的情况简报,死期 ( Deadline )是 1 月 13 日前。本来还想忙里偷闲为俺的博客再写点美国访学见闻,分享那些稍纵即逝的精彩瞬间。结果又被这临时的作业占据。因为此前这 3 刊都没有相关的中文介绍,又是一个不眠之夜,终于临时拼凑了些材料,算是如期完成了任务。也顺便贴于博客,立此存照。 2010 《国际农业与生物工程学报》 (IJABE) 简报 《国际农业与生物工程学报》( International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering, IJABE, http://www.ijabe.org )创刊于 2008 年。该刊是一本中美合作的国际英文刊,由中国农业工程学会( CSAE )和(美国)海外华人农业、生物与食品工程师协会 (AOCABFE) 共同主办,同时出版网络版和印刷版(国际刊号 ISSN1934-6344/eISSN1934 -6352) 。中国农业大学教授汪懋华院士和美国明尼苏达大学教授 Roger Ruan 任主编,汪懋华院士和美国农业部亚热带农业研究中心研究员杨成海博士担任编委会主任,朱明院长担任编委会常务副主任, 王应宽 博士和美国明尼苏达大学 Paul Chen 博士担任执行主编。该刊成立了由来自 30 个国家的国际知名同行专家组成的国际化的编辑委员会,负责学术质量把关,实行同行评审。该刊建有独立国际域名的网站( http://www.ijabe.org ),选择安装了远程稿件编辑处理软件系统开放期刊管理系统 OJS ,可以通过网站投稿、审稿和阅读文章等。 期刊共设 6 个专业技术栏目,包括动力与机械系统、水土工程、生物环境工程、信息与电气技术、可再生能源工程、农产品与食品加工工程,为引领和跟踪学科交叉与融合发展,还设立了 新兴科学、工程与技术 栏目。实行栏目主编负责制,专家负责学术质量的把关。主要刊登农业与生物工程领域的研究论文和研究综述文章。 英文刊 IJABE 实行基于作者付费的开放存取出版模式( Open Access ),即作者付费出版论文,读者可以免费的阅读和下载期刊所发表的全部论文。网站自 2008 年 6 月开通试运行以来,受到世界各国科技同行的广泛关注。据统计,访问者除了中国各省市区的同行,还包括来自美国、英国、爱尔兰、加拿大、德国、法国、荷兰、瑞典、波兰、西班牙、葡萄牙、意大利、冰岛、塞浦路斯、马其顿、澳大利亚、新西兰、俄罗斯、日本、韩国、印度、泰国、菲律宾、越南、伊朗、土耳其、马来西亚、印度尼西亚、沙特阿拉伯、南非、埃及、尼日利亚、埃塞俄比雅、巴巴多斯、巴西、阿根廷、智利、墨西哥、以色列等六十多个国家或地区的同行专家。经过 3 年的运行,网站的累积浏览量已超过 20 万次,注册用户超过 3000 个。 该刊现为季刊。自创刊以来,已经连续出版 3 卷共 10 期,累计刊载学术论文近 91 篇。所刊载的论文作者除了主要来自中国和美国以外,还包括德国、英国、爱尔兰、加拿大、巴西、印度、日本、泰国、伊朗、埃及、尼日利亚等二十多个国家的作者。国际作者论文数占刊载论文总数的 60% 以上。论文的主题涵盖农业与生物工程学科领域,还刊载了一些交叉学科领域的热点文章。 经过积极联系和宣传推介,截至 2010 年底,英文刊 IJABE 已先后通过评估被十余家国际知名的检索系统和网络平台收录,包括美国《化学文摘》( Chemical Abstract ),美国《学术期刊集成全文数据库》( Academic Search Complete of EBSCOhost databases ),美国国家农业图书馆的 农业在线获取文摘索引( AGRICOLA ),英国《国际农业与生物科学研究文摘》( CABI, Centre for Agriculture and Bioscience Abstracts ) CAB Abstracts Databases 及其全文数据库 CAB Full Text Repository ,英国《物理、电子学和计算文献数据库》( Inspec Database ),荷兰《斯高帕斯数据库》( Scopus ),即 Elsevier Bibliographic Databases ,《俄罗斯文摘》( Abstract Journal , AJ of VINITI, Russia ),波兰的《哥白尼索引》( Index Copernicus , IC ),谷歌学术搜索数据库( Google Scholar )。同时, IJABE 还被链接到世界最大的开放存取期刊平台 Directory of Open Access Journal 和 Open J-Gate 以及美国《乌利希期刊指南》( Ulrich PD, Ulrich's Periodicals Directory )。期刊起步良好,发展较快,正在稳步提升质量和影响,争取被更多国际知名检索系统收录,逐步推进国际化,以期为农业与生物工程的学术交流、学科发展和人才培养做出积极贡献。 IJABE 执行主编 王应宽 供稿 2011 年 1 月 11 日

国际英文刊IJABE 2010年第3期出版

王 应 宽 2010-10-04 Beijing , China 国际英文刊 IJABE 2010 年第 3 期出版 由于预计 9 月底要准备再次赴美访学,加之 9 月 16-20 日要赴上海参加国际会议和本人组织单位职工去上海的系列参观交流活动,就提前布置工作,早早筹划赶时间提前出版国际英文刊 IJABE 的第 3 期文章。还好,最后终于在预定时间 9 月 25 日之前出版了该期,网络版实际上线时间是 9 月 20 日。 该期所刊登的 9 篇文章,只有一篇来自中国,其余 8 篇为国际作者的论文,包括美国 2 篇,加拿大 2 篇,马来西亚 2 篇,斯里兰卡 1 篇、尼日利亚 1 篇。该期文章具体内容涉及以下方面:水果收获机器人机械手多自由度分析(马来西亚)、谷物脱粒机性能参数的计算机辅助选择(尼日利亚)、半圆开放渠水流量的数学模型开发与验证(中国)、水稻精准种植中基于 GIS 的灌溉水管理(马来西亚)、采用大气基因流模型评价转基因粮食作物环境风险(美国)、基于 GIS 的流域泥沙运移模拟方法评价(加拿大 - 美国)、玉米秸微波辅助裂解产生物油的分馏与鉴定(美国)、经过和未经汽爆预处理的生物质燃料成粒特性(加拿大)、气调砖墙冷库高湿低温条件下酸橙的采后储藏(斯里兰卡)。 由于人手不足,手头有其他几本期刊要出版,加之主办国际会议等诸多事项,致使每期的出版都面临短期加班赶活的 Deadline ,巨累且不可持续。我时常调侃自己,如果每期都面临 Deadline ,长此以往我就会 Dead 了(吾命休矣)! 文章目录附后,欢迎感兴趣者到网站( www.ijabe.org )浏览全文。感谢大家指导和支持!
