In the dining-room we have our meals: breakfast in the morning, lunch in the middle of the day, tea in the afternoon, and supper or dinner in the evening. MacCarthy, P. A. D. (1950). English Pronunciation: a Practical Handbook for the Foreign Learner (4th ed.). Cambridge, UK: W. Heffer sons ltd. O'Connor, J. D. (1980-67). Better English Pronunciation (2nd ed.). London, UK: Edward Arnold. 这几本都是本行的经典,写新书的甚至是上面几位的学生!不妨先后读一下。每本只读一遍,4本读过后,要是没有把英文读成了中文的话,而且能够自己张嘴白话出来,就可以直接用英语开课了! 当时的有些课本,没有汉字的,也值得提一下: English Language Services. (1964). New York, NY: American Book Co. 不一定有用,但是至少学会了什么Every good boy does fine. Do you have any friends? No, I don't. How come? Well, you may have heard that many many years ago there was a book published, which had a circulation a little shy of that of the Bible. The title of the book is "How to Win Friends and Influence People", written by Dale Carnegie. From that book we know that one has to win friends. If we have to win friends, and we may have to win enemies, then friends are enemies. In Chinese, we all know that a friend needs two people, one after another. The one that is after the other will stab the one in front since it is easier to simply stab him or her. Therefore, we do not have friends and do not need friends. So, I do not have friends. 这是在an English Corner的谈话。主要是看反应,言之成理,不必是事实的。对方既然问了,回答了No, I don't.似乎已经错了,那就错下去,有道理就行了!是不是?口语就是这样出来的,不过,思维汉语是出不来的,而且就是出来了,不但很多不是人话,反应速度也跟不上! 谈数学呢,要看教几年级了。比如教小学数学,则可以有如下的思考同口语,平时想一想也行: 75 is a number. It ends in 5, and is divisible by 5, and it is a multiple of 5, and it is an odd number. 7 plus 5 is 12, and 1 plus 2 is 3, so 75 is also divisible by 3, with a quotient of 25, which is also a multiple of 5, and is divisible by 5 as well. As 75 has 3 25's, it is 3 quarters of 100. 这些都是小孩级别的,大约5/6年级水平,美国/加拿大的。可以在学校教数学了。 教物理怎么说呢?中学级别的。比如: Archimides’ Principle is a principle that tells us that if a body is placed in a liquid, the body displaces an amount of the liquid. The amount of liquid displaced by the body has weight, and the weight will exert a force (buoyancy) that will buoy the body up. The body may float when the buoyancy is greater than the weight of the body, and the body may sink when the buoyancy is less than the weight of the body. Englishes Spoken—How to Learn to Speak Englishes? 摘要 Abstract It is deemed most difficult to speak English as a non-native language, compared with other three basic language skills in learning an alphabetic language. However, speaking a language is also very easy for a language user, especially when the language is a mother tongue. The two superficially contradictory conclusions can best by explained via an analysis of the relationship between the basic language skills and the competence of the language learner. Based on such an analysis, this article draws the conclusion that the ability to speak an alphabetic language is the precondition for the development of the other three basic language skills. Keywords : spoken English; to speak; competence; effective; sinologise. 关键词: 英语口语;说;能力;有效;汉化。 引言 Introduction 对于语言使用者及学习者来说,说的能力可以算是至关重要的,除非失声。况且,说、听能力的提高又是中国大学英语课程的要求,同时,也自然是所有学习语言者的必经之地。在 Dale Carnegie 的当年销售量据说仅低于《圣经》的名著《择友惑众术》,即 How to Win Friends and Influence People Men of few words are the best men. 说 my father’s other son 是什么意思? My topic is .../ talking about...my choice is.../i'd like to/i'd prefer... the most important /1st/ major reason is ... moreover/ furthermore/the second reason/another reason... last but not the least/ the last reason... so.../... is my choice. 3,4:in this set of material...the reading passage is a notice/announcement from...it talks about/it requires... the listening passage is ... 5,6:this set of material is a conversation about the man/the woman's problem. the man/ the woman... because... the woman/ the man offers/gives him/her 2 suggestions, the first is ... the second is ... personally i think ....... 记得不太全了,因为写下来的东西送人了,现在只能想到这么多。 段子自己多准备几个 ,虽然很有可能一个也用不上。我自己的例子吧 N. Gregory Mankiwreputable economistprofessor of Haward univ.his book Principles of Economics has been translated into various of languages and influenced people all around the world
Sorry, my English is poor,什么问题都能用这句话抵挡过去。

她还告诉我说她主要通过两个途径improve英语水平,The one is 英语角,the other is 看英语原声电影。
1:Before I eat dinner, I read newspaper for a while(18个音). 吃饭前我看会报纸(8个音)。 2:What time did you get up yesterday morning?(18个音). 你昨天早上几点起床?(9个音)。 3:Jane and Peter had been fishing for three hours but they had caught nothing(26个音). 珍和彼得钓了三小时鱼但什么都没钓着(17个音)。 4:Your appointment will be at next Thursday at 10 oclock(27个音).
