Traditional medicine Translational medicine 是刚刚结束的中美国际转化医学论坛的分会场的名称,一看就知道跟中医有关,是我们学校在连续两周承办的第二个国际会议的分会场,效果出乎意料地好。上周在国际会议中心举行的第十四届国际病毒性肝炎和肝病大会( ISVHLD )是首次在发展中国家举办,设 Traditional medicine 的分会场自然也是 ISVHLD 四十年来的首次,吸引了一些老外来捧场。这次请来了黄芩汤的鼻祖郑永齐,还有优雅的师奶杀手卞教授,会场挤得满满当当, Co-chair 郑永齐在洋洋洒洒地谈“振兴传统医学的四大问题时”,一位耄耋老人轻手轻脚地走了进来,不少眼尖的听众和我一样,嘴巴瞬间成为大写的“ O ”,去年的国家最高科技奖获得者王振义院士来听中医药的分会场。 可能是不久前王院士听过我重点学科的答辩,茶歇的时候拉着我聊天。 88 岁的老人很自豪地说,他学过中医、教过中医、是中医开拓了血研所的研究视野,每一次和中医的交流都会有启发和收获,所以中医药的分会场他是一定要来听一听的。或许是三氧化二砷的故事已为大家所熟知吧,老人自豪而又遗憾地跟我讲起五十年前他和药物所研究蒲黄的故事,他们从粥样斑块“瘀血”理论入手,在整体动物观察到中药蒲黄对动脉粥样硬化的防治作用,与上海中药三厂协作,试制主含蒲黄的中药制剂进入医院,证实对冠心病患者的有很好的疗效,分离纯化蒲黄的多种有效成分,发现了四个活性较强的成分,从细胞水平(血管内皮细胞培养、平滑肌细胞培养)研究蒲黄有效成分的作用机制,获卫生部科技进步二等奖。老人说,现在可能对蒲黄的研究不太多了,如果你们中医药大学有兴趣,可以深入下去,他相信蒲黄对 AS 是有前景的。 和半年多前我曾写过的“大医眼中的中医” -- 汤钊猷院士一样,王振义院士也是有“中医情结”的。而郑永齐院士对中医的思考是要让人刮目相看的,他已经在用“天人相应”的观点研究肿瘤微环境和肿瘤干细胞的关系,如果把“天人相应”的“天”看作“天空”的“天”,把“人”看作“人体”的“人”,中医的发展就没法达到应有的高度,好像很有哲理,我还没有参悟透彻。
