VIOME TEAM, 2020 Gut Microbiome Health and Cellular Health are the Keys to Optimizing Physical Performance AND How Athletic Performance is affected by your Gut Microbiome, Cellular, and Mitochondrial Health.

All suffered from respiratory problems. The research reported that negative ions without any other treatment seem to cure attacks of asthma and bronchitis more quickly than drugs. They also observed that there were no adverse side effects frequently found when treating such children with drugs. Halotherapy, Dry Saline Aerosol Therapy has been developed on the basis of Speleotherapy - underground natural healing rock salt chambers. The beneficial health effects of the microclimate of salt mines have been known for centuries. Even before they were first described in a book published by a Polish physician Feliks Boczkowski in 1843. Since then, the practice of bringing patients with respiratory diseases down to the salt mines for healing spread throughout Europe, and it has become a standard feature of Spa treatment of respiratory diseases. In the 1980s Eastern European scientists began to build Halotherapy chambers that re-created in clinics and other above ground facilities the microclimate of salt mines. These Halo chambers have floors and walls lined with rock salt. Patients sit in the Halo chamber (salt therapy room) for 45 minutes per session while music and aesthetical, natural environment creates a relaxed mood that promotes healing. Salt covering of Halotherapy chamber surfaces is performed chiefly to deliver negative ion environment (like water falls, pine forests, ocean and sea shores). Another major reason is to deliver an aesthetic function for stress reduction, which is a powerful psychological effect contributing to healing. Is it necessary to use Dry Saline Generator (Halogenerator) in a salt therapy room which surfaces are covered with salt? Concentration of 3-5 mg of particles of minerals per cubic meter, with breathable particles of 1-5 micrometers is absolutely necessary for creating right healing Halotherapy environment. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep Horovitz,S. Study Objectives: Females with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) show different psychological and physiological symptoms from males, which may be associated with sex-related variations in neural injury occurring with the disorder. To determine whether male- or female-specific brain injury is present in OSA, we assessed influences of sex on white matter changes in the condition. Design: Two-group factorial. Setting: University medical center. Patients or Participants: 80 subjects total, with newly diagnosed, untreated OSA groups of 10 female (age mean ± SE: 52.6 ± 2.4 years, AHI 22.5 ± 4.1 events/h) and 20 male (age 48.9 ± 1.7, AHI 25.5 ± 2.9) patients, and 20 female (age 50.3 ± 1.7) and 30 male (age 49.2 ± 1.4) healthy control subjects. Interventions: None. Measurements and Results: Brain fiber integrity was assessed with fractional anisotropy (FA), a diffusion tensor imaging-derived measure. Sleep quality, daytime sleepiness, depression, and anxiety were assessed with questionnaires. We identified regions of differing injury in male versus female OSA patients by assessing brain regions with significant interaction effects of OSA and sex on FA. Areas of sex-specific, OSA-related FA reductions appeared in females relative to males, including in the bilateral cingulum bundle adjacent to the mid hippocampus, right stria terminalis near the amygdala, prefrontal and posterior-parietal white matter, corpus callosum, and left superior cerebellar peduncle. Females with OSA showed higher daytime sleepiness, anxiety and depression levels, and reduced sleep quality. Conclusions: Sex differences in white matter structural integrity appeared in OSA patients, with females more affected than males. These female-specific structural changes may contribute to or derive from neuropsychological and physiological symptom differences between sexes. Macey PM; Kumar R; Yan-Go FL; Woo MA; Harper RM.
CIRCADIAN RHYTHMS: Sleep Study Suggests Triggers for Diabetes and Obesity 2012.04.13 参考文献 Cristina Luiggi, The Dark Side of Working Nights . Save Africa. We cannot use the bottle water for teeth rinsing any more. Do you know how badly Africa needs food and clean water?

( Is carbonyl detoxification an important anti-aging process during sleep?(原文附在本文末尾) )”。 The Elementary Studies of Biochemical Mechanisms of Sleep HE Zhi-Heng, YIN Da-Zhong ( Laboratory of Aging Biochemistry , College of Life Sciences , Hunan Normal University , Changsha 410081 , Hunan , China ) Abstract: Sleep research is an old discipline. Over the past century, much progress in the field has been achieved, e.g., through the cellular electro - physiology. Due to some unsolvable technical difficulties, sleep researchers are more focused on clinical aspects of sleep problems, such as narcolepsy, depression and so on. Although the circadian component of sleeping comparatively has been well understood, the homeostatic component - the true essence of sleep - remains a mystery. The induction of cell factors ( IL - 1 and TNF α ) to sleep has shown the possibility to understand sleep in molecular level. So far, there have been a number of theories and hypotheses, but humans ’ knowledge about the molecular mechanism of sleep are still in the primary stage. (来源:科学时报 群芳) http://www.sciencemag.org/cgi/content/abstract/sci;326/5955/1005?maxtoshow=HITS=10hits=10RESULTFORMAT=fulltext=David+M.+Holtzmansearchid=1FIRSTINDEX=0resourcetype=HWCIT Originally published in Science Express on 24 September 2009 Science 13 November 2009: Vol. 326. no. 5955, pp. 1005 - 1007 DOI: 10.1126/science.1180962 Prev | Table of Contents | Next Reports Amyloid- Dynamics Are Regulated by Orexin and the Sleep-Wake Cycle Jae-Eun Kang, 1 Miranda M. A aggregation is a concentration-dependent process that is likely responsive to changes in brain interstitial fluid (ISF) levels of A. Using in vivo microdialysis in mice, we found that the amount of ISF A correlated with wakefulness. The amount of ISF A also significantly increased during acute sleep deprivation and during orexin infusion, but decreased with infusion of a dual orexin receptor antagonist. Chronic sleep restriction significantly increased, and a dual orexin receptor antagonist decreased, A plaque formation in amyloid precursor protein transgenic mice. One of the most ubiquitous tasks facing individuals is categorization. Sleep deprivation is known to affect rule-based categorization in the classic Wisconsin Card Sorting Task, but, to date, information-integration categorization has not been examined. Study Objectives : To investigate the effects of sleep deprivation on information-integration category learning. Design : Participants performed an information-integration categorization task twice, separated by a 24-hour period, with or without sleep between testing sessions. Participants : Twenty-one West Point cadets participated in the sleep-deprivation group and 28 West Point cadets participated in a control group. Measurements and Results : Sleep deprivation led to an overall performance deficit during the second testing sessionthat is, whereas participants allowed to sleep showed a significant performance increase during the second testing session, Sleepless participants showed a small (but nonsignificant) performance decline during the second testing session. Model-based analyses indicated that a major contributor to the sleep-deprivation effect was the poor second-session performance of a subgroup of sleep-deprived participants who shifted from optimal information-integration strategies at the end of the first session to less-optimal rule-based strategies at the start of the second session. Sleep-deprived participants who used information-integration strategies in both sessions showed no drop in performance in the second session, mirroring the behavior of control participants. Conclusions : The findings suggest that the neural systems underlying information-integration strategies are not strongly affected by sleep deprivation but, rather, that the use of an information-integration strategy in a task may require active inhibition of rule-based strategies, with this inhibitory process being vulnerable to the effects of sleep deprivation. 。。
