I know Shanghai is a BIG city, but the title limits English in letters, instead of words. I will teach English (scientific) writing at Shanghai Typhoon Institute (STI) on July 20th, starting at 3 pm (NEW TIME). I knew of STI more than 20 years ago, because a girlfriend of mine got a job there after college, and a professor of mine also moved there... Somehow, I never visited the STI, not even once. I suspected that was because I was a tiny meteorologist in China, and then I was dropped into the sea and became an oceanographer... I am looking forward to my first visit of the well-known STI!
