《自然》日本心受质疑

在上周的 《自然》编者按中( https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-018-05284-w ) ,或许是因为日本科学家曾经有过的,在干细胞研究中的不诚实记录,《自然》毫不留情地以《 日本需要为其宣称的能够修复受损心脏的干细胞治疗,出示令人信服的治疗结果》(Stem-cell tests must show success -Japan needs to demonstrate that a promising therapy for damaged hearts works as claimed.)为题,要求出示更令人信服的临床证据。 言外之意,世界不再相信他们的所说所写,人们要看到他们用这种干细胞治疗方法,到底已经成功治疗了几个病人! 无独有偶, 5 月 24 日至 29 日在俄罗斯举办的第 22 届圣彼得堡国际经济论坛上,日本首相安倍在发言中不遗余力地向世界推销日本的最新医疗手段和成果。 看来这是日本的举国战略,要在再生医学等重要领域抢占世界商业先机。 马上让笔者联想到的是,早在 2002 年左右, 有几位日本学者到我美国的 NMT 实验室访问 ,除了对 NMT 技术魅力的赞叹之余,在随后的午餐上,一位较年长的日本学者对我不无感慨地说道: “ 唉!难怪这些技术都先出现的美国,因为世界的人才都是首选美国,然后欧洲,最后才到我们日本啊。 ” 熟悉 NMT 技术的朋友们或许有这个印象,就是从 NMT 技术诞生至今二三十年,日本人应用 NMT 技术发表科技论文的实验室几乎没有,在我们 旭月研究院的 NMT 文献库里 ( http://xbi.org )日本人的名字都很难找到(读者可以试试,我是没有找到!)。 尽管通向罗马的道路不止一条,但是,重水、浓缩铀、离心技术大概是拥核路上必须要过的几道坎儿。生命科学的研究也有其自身的规律,特别是人们难以想象的是没有显微镜技术,怎会有今天的细胞生物学;没有基因测序仪,怎么会有人类基因组计划等等。作为世界上不多的几个研究细胞/组织微环境手段之一的NMT技术,如果在这个领域缺少日本人的身影,那么他们的任何宣誓和技术的突然跃升,都是缺乏技术基础的。 所以,在世界科学家都刚刚意识到细胞 / 组织微环境的重要性的时候,一个干细胞研究细胞水平存在造假劣迹的国度,当他宣称自己已经成功地将干细胞技术应用到了人体的心脏器官损伤修复时,世人的质疑就是理所当然的了。 --------- 笔者有关NMT非损伤微测技术、再生医学和微环境研究的相关博文如下: 再生医学与NMT非损伤微测技术(2)中国机遇 《科学》癌症药物治疗的效果取决于营养微环境:忌口很重要! 《科学》癌症免疫疗法非意外受挫:中国的机会? 《科学》抗药性的困局与出路:中国的机遇?

陈大华 中国科学院动物研究所 主要科技贡献: 陈大华研究员长期以果蝇等模式生物为模型,在生殖干细胞不对称分裂、细胞发育动态调控和表现遗传研究中做出系统性和原创性工作。阐明了生殖干细胞命运决定过程中干细胞及其分化子细胞对微环境信号响应梯度形成机理。陈大华及其合作者(陶毅)提出了控制生殖干细胞不对称分裂的 “ 双稳态调控 ” 模型;揭示了细胞发育过程中系统稳定性维持的 “ 双向调控 ” 机制 , 为一些疾病发生和发病机理研究提供新线索。近年来,陈大华及其合作者(汪海林)在果蝇基因组中首次发现新型 DNA 修饰形式( 6mA )及其动态调控机制,该研究揭示了高等真核生物中表观遗传调控的新途径,在基础研究中取得了原创性成果。为表观遗传学和发育生物学开辟了一个新的研究方向。 丁 健 中国科学院上海药物研究所 主要科技贡献: 丁健院士领导建成了技术先进、国际规范的创新药物综合性研发体系。作为主要发明者,研发的十余个分子靶向抗肿瘤新药处于临床和临床前不同阶段,九个已实现转让,经济与社会效益显著,为我国抗肿瘤原创药物研制及创新能力体系建设做出了重要贡献。围绕抗肿瘤药物临床有效率低、易产生耐药等世界难题,提出并发展了“敏感标志物与疗效监控标志物同步的个性化药物研发策略”,发现了十余个配套的疗效监控标志物,为避免临床的无效治疗、监控耐药产生、制定联合用药方案提供了科学依据,得到国际认可。提出并领衔中科院“个性化药物”A类先导专项,为我国抗肿瘤药物精准治疗的国际同步化战略实施,抢占国际新药研究制高点,做出了基础性贡献。
