天光乍晓-梦在何方

黎明来的时候是什么样？那天光、那色彩，红日跃出了大海，爬上了山颠，透光那层层的云雾，投射到那巍峨的角楼上，角楼上折射出安详的光芒。

新的一天来临了！快，醒醒，去看那！

Awake! for Morning in the Bowl of Night
Has flung the Stone that puts the Stars to Flight:
“And Lo! the Hunter of the East has caught
The Sultan's Turret in a Noose of Light.”

晨起一喝破苍穹，顽石流转跃星空；

东方猎人显身手，苏丹角楼别样红。

人在梦中，啊！快醒醒；人在旅途，再来一杯又如何？

Dreaming when Dawn's Left Hand was in the Sky
I heard a Voice within the Tavern cry,
“Awake, my Little ones, and fill the Cup
Before Life's Liquor in its Cup be dry.”

天将破晓犹在梦，吵杂客栈闻一声；

“快醒宝贝添杯满，莫待干涸了人生。

莪默．伽亚谟为波斯诗人，其《鲁拜集》(The Rubaiyat of Omar khayyam(Extract))成于十一世纪之始，初未为人所识也。至十九世纪中叶，英国诗人爱德华．菲茨杰拉德Edward FitzGerald (1809-1883)以清新巧妙之笔译之，由此成名于世。

所译的两首小诗是其诗集中的第一首和第二首，翻译时只注意了韵脚，尽量保持原诗歌的含意。
