Michael Houghton, born in 1949 [5], male, a British biochemist, is currently a virology researcher of the Canadian Distinguished Researcher Program, a professor of virology at the University of Alberta Li Ka shing, and the director of the Institute of Applied Virology at the University of Alberta Li Ka shing. [1] Participate in the development of hepatitis C test. [2]

On October 5, 2020, he won the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 2020, in recognition of his contribution to the "discovery of hepatitis C virus". [3]

迈克尔·霍顿(Michael Houghton),1949年生 [5]  ,男,英国生物化学家,现任加拿大卓越研究员计划病毒学研究员、阿尔伯塔大学李嘉诚病毒学教授,并担任阿尔伯塔大学李嘉诚应用病毒学研究所主任。 [1]  参与开发丙型肝炎测试。 [2] 

2020年10月5日,获得2020年诺贝尔生理学或医学奖,以表彰他“发现丙型肝炎病毒”方面作出的贡献。 [3]
