For my work, I need to learn how to use Word and xlsx right away. Plus, I need to know how to find files, etc. After sitting at the Apple store (right across the street, which is one of the reasons why I decided to go for Mac) for a while (until my feet got really cold due to a/c), I was in business.
Here are the three tricks I have learned so far.
Two-finger movement: to move up and down the page.
"tab" key: It helps you to finish typing one line and move down to the next line (while "enter" key will trigger an action, such as "log in").
How to "right click": use "ctl"+"click." My dear son taught me this useful trick. Or, you can use two fingers (to press down), as I was taught by my personal Mac trainer.
