ECCV基本是每年召开一次，每年会议论文均刊登在SPRINGER出版社的丛书丛刊《LECTURE NOTES IN COMPUTER SCIENCE》 上，每年会议均被EI、ISTP收录，每年的会议论文会选择部分论文到《INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF COMPUTER VISION》 、《COMPUTER VISION AND IMAGE UNDERSTANDING》等刊物上发表。2008年在法国召开的10届会议收录243篇论文，其中美国94篇、中国23篇、法国21篇、英国18篇、德国15篇、加拿大9篇。
香港中文大学、中科院、香港科技大学、清华、上海交大、北大、西安交大、香港大学、西北工业大学等著名学校均在10届会议上发表论文。
