早先在《轻装》中提到Three Man in a Boat那句话。We must not think of the things we could do with, but only the things that we can’t do without. 后面还有段妙论，当年也深以为然。也可以算做自己的初心吧！

You will fing the boat easier to pull then, and it will not be so liable to upset, and it will not matter so much if it dose upset; good, plain merchandise will stand water. 这种轻松快乐的生活，是我年轻时的理想。甚至也认为是君子的标志，如《荀子·修身》云“君子役物，小人役于物”。或许正是君子无伤于物，才有《论语·述而》所谓“君子坦荡荡，小人长戚戚”。

几十年过去，我不能不承认，对当年理想的坚持，至少是没有达到当年对自己期许的程度。或者说，没有完全做到“不忘初心”。惭愧！
