After carefully read Razavi's "Design of Analog CMOS Integrated Circuit" twice, derived every equation in the book,and after repeatedly listen to a few IC design online lectures, I couldn't yet figure out an IC using my own circuit based on transistors. It is really disappointing. It is important that an analog IC designer shall be able to design an IC using his own circuits.  Today finally I designed an analog IC using my own circuits based on transistors not IC building blocks. Life is wonderfull.
