英诗译－世间最美

我一直在寻找着那个答案，偶尔一天，当那清风翻过了一叶又一叶的秋色，站在秋风中，一片秋叶飞过我的身旁，我拾起那片秋叶，却赫然发现，那秋叶上刻着一首异国的小诗，我读起那首小诗，忽然发现，这就是那我一直在寻找的答案吗？

世间最美物为何？

六月玫凝五月露，

芬芳南风无雨色，

真诚待朋勿做恶，

喜悦莫要匆忙过；

美丽何曾矫揉作，

纯朴自然真情露；

灯光莫使眼眨苦，

回忆没有心痛处，

蝶恋花来花恋蝶。

世间最美物为何？

吾思终非汝所得。

THE BEST THING IN THE WORLD

What's the best thing in the world?
June-rose, by May-dew impearled;
Sweet south-wind, that means no rain;
Truth, not cruel to a friend;
Pleasure, not in haste to end;
Beauty, not self-decked and curled
Till its pride is over-plain;
Light, that never makes you wink;
Memory, that gives no pain;
Love, when, so, you're loved again.
What's the best thing in the world?
