The best Chinese garden outside China

I took this side trip from SLC to PDX, to see my friend and to see this Chinese garden that I didn't get to see two years ago when I was in Portland, OR.
How much can you do in the space of ONE block? Well, I am totally impressed by the variety of plants, some are blooming to welcome the spring. (I will see if I have some photos that are good enough to be uploaded.)
It was a sunny day, from the morning all the way into the evening, which does not happen often in this part of the country in winter. I feel soooooo lucky, because I cannot ask for more.
