A Special Issue on
Optoelectronic nanomaterials and devices
Call for Papers
Optoelectronic materials constitute the building blocks for most of today’s devices. With the miniaturization of dimension of key elements in nowadays optoelectronic devices, traditional fabrication route is confronted with difficulties. The bottom-up approach to functional optoelectronic devices by using nanomaterials as the building blocks emerges as a viable alternative. The development of nanomaterials presents us more possibilities to explore new materials properties, due to their unique structural sensitivity to optical and electronic signals. Interesting optoelectronic properties have been widely studied in various nanomaterials and nanostructures, and have led to a wide range of applications in solar cells (photovoltaic), photodetectors (photoconductivity), light-emitting diodes (LEDs), photocatalysis, optical fibers, field emitters, lasers, photoluminescence (PL), and so on.
This special issue is devoted to all topics related to optoelectronic nanomaterials and devices. Both experimental and theoretical works are welcome.
We invite the submission oforiginal research articles, communications and review articlesto this special issue in the following fields:
- Synthesis and characterizations of optoelectronic nanomaterials and nanostructures
- Photocatalysis
- Photoluminescence, phosphors and applications
- Solar cell and photovoltaic materials
- Photodetectors, optical switches, and sensors
- Light-emitting diodes
- Field emitters, lasers, and optical fibers
- All other fields related to optoelectronic properties and applications with nanomaterials

Please make sure in the cover letter that the submitted paper has not been published previously and is not currently submitted for review to any other journal and will not be submitted elsewhere before a decision is made by this journal.
