l  有关美国太空飞行发展史的纪录片，从肯尼迪总统登月计划的提出和实施，到里根总统的航天飞机计划，是一部反映美国观点的电视教学片，缺点是如果加上星球大战计划就更加完全了。影片中最感人的片断是1986年挑战者号航天飞机升空爆炸，七名宇航员包括一名女教师为国捐躯，美国亿万目睹这一人间惨剧，影片真实地反映美国人民在短时间内的欢乐与悲哀的强烈反差。

l 15项是用选民的钞票向老百姓提供一幅民主党人有关高科技、高福利、和谐家园的美好蓝图。至于怎样实现那是民主当继承人和共和党对手的事情

l  初步商定我们3月中左右飞往卡皮提诺建琳那里,然后由张世祥接到洛杉矶,在洛衫矶一带游览后,从洛杉矶返回纽约。

2000年1月28日 (星期五) 阴历十二月二十二日,晴，-15—-5C

今天是来美国的第98天，是“五九”的第二天。北京气温-14--  1C，上海-3- 5C，哈尔滨-25-- -13C, 纽约-12-- -4C。6:50-7:25am晨炼时感觉比昨天更冷，但是还没有到使耳朵十分刺痛的程度，学生们上学前已经“全副武装”，遛狗者也不例外，松鼠则无踪无影。我一路小跑，乘散步深呼吸新鲜空气，十分惬意，精神为之一振。

    今天全天收集和研究克林顿总统的国情咨文，不仅下载了2000年1月27日的国情咨文，而且下载了1993-1999年间七个国情咨文及有关背景资料（见C:\annian\data\usa01.doc到 C:\annian\data\usa09.doc号）。第一个是1993年2月17日；第二个是1994年1月25日；第三个是1995年1月24日；第四个是1996年1月23日；第五个是1997年2月4日；第六个是1998年1月27日；第七个是1999年1月20日。昨天的国情咨文国内部分着重强调了迎接美国21世纪革命的目标:President Clinton Unveils "First Accounts":Bringing The "Unbanked" Into The Financial Mainstream; Largest Ever National Gun  Enforcement Initiative;Proposes 1.to Expand the Earned Income Tax Credit in Order To Increase the Reward for Work and Family; 2.Investing in New and Modernized Schools; 3. Combating Medicare Fraud;Providing 14. Equal Pay for Women;Promoting 15. And next month, America will achieve the longest period of economic growth in our entire history. ”他称“ We have built a new economy. And our economic revolution has been matched by a revival of the American spirit: crime down by 20 percent, to its lowest level in 25 years; teen births down seven years in a row; adoptions up by 30 percent; welfare rolls cut in half to their lowest levels in 30 years. ”他强调“ But even more important, America again has the confidence to dream big dreams.”“we have crossed the bridge we built to the 21st century. Now, we must shape a 21st century American revolution -- of opportunity, responsibility and community. We must be now, as we were in the beginning, a new nation.”克林顿引用20世纪初老罗斯福总统的新国家主义讲话“Theodore Roosevelt said, "the one characteristic more essential than any other is foresight...it should be the growing nation with a future that takes the long look ahead." ”表示要以他为榜样。他引用1787年费城制宪会议时富兰克林的名言结束自己的讲演：“You know, when the framers finished crafting our Constitution in Philadelphia, Benjamin Franklin stood in Independence Hall and he reflected on the carving of the sun that was on the back of a chair he saw. The sun was low on the horizon. So he said this -- he said, "I've often wondered whether that sun was rising or setting. Today," Franklin said, "I have the happiness to know it's a rising sun." Today, because each succeeding generation of Americans has kept the fire of freedom burning brightly, lighting those frontiers of possibility, we all still bask in the glow and the warmth of Mr. Franklin's rising sun. ”克林顿的全部演说引来了133次喝彩声、掌声和笑声。

美科技股昨天继续下滑，Nasdaq指数下跌30.35点(0.75%)，到4039.56点。有消息说“投资人正在密切注意将在周五公布的第四季就业指数与国内生产总值，这两项可能影响联邦储备局下周利率走向的重要经济指标。”今天美国股市全面下挫，跌幅创今年以来的第二个新高。Nasdaq指数下跌了152.49,降到3887.07,下降幅度为3.7%左右,道琼斯指数下降了289.15到了10738.87,下降幅度超过了2%。数字还显示Y和J，Real Cash Balance $11,308.27 Available Cash Balance $11,308.27 Stock Value $43,160.63 Account Value $54,468.90。而1月25日Stock Value $43,160.63，减少了$2696.75。

8:00-8:15pm, 建琳来电话问我们什么时候去西部她们那里,建立也两次向她问及此事,我们告诉她在三月内去西部,确切时间要等到张世祥从国内回来后再安排。8:50-8:55pm,

我给张世祥通了电话,他后天回国内,说3月初一定回来,初步商定我们3月中左右飞往卡皮提诺建琳那里,然后由张世祥接我们到洛杉矶,在洛衫矶一带游览后,从洛杉矶返回纽约。

   楼上邻居Jadays开始了蚂蚁搬家,这位来自印度的好邻居在月底前要搬离这里,房东老太太因为感冒一直没有回来,不知我们的新邻居又是谁。
