CCAST同意中英文总结报告: 第五届全国网络科学论坛总结报告

“第五届全国网络科学论坛

总结报告

 

 

2009年“第五届全国网络科学论坛”, 在中国高等科学技术中心资助下,并与中国原子能科学研究院和中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院共同组织,已于20091221日至23日在北京科学院基础圆区中国高等科学技术交流中心举行,共约80多人参加,包括研究员、教授、博士后、博士,博士生与硕士生,以及高校老师,论坛取得了圆满成功。

论坛有三个主要议题都已经达到:

1交流近年国内外网络科学与应用方面的新进展

2探讨今后我国网络科学与应用的研究发展方向 

3座谈今后“复杂网络圈”的有关活动。

本届论坛极富特色,采用“大会特邀报告、大会一般(口头)报告、网络科学知识竞赛和专题学术沙龙”四结合形式,共有15个特邀报告,课题前沿、深入浅出,主题突出,交流充分;大会口头报告17个都是年轻人,学术气氛热烈而融洽,思想活跃,生动活泼;学术沙龙争论热烈,富有启发性和建设性,体现了“百家争鸣”精神。

本届论坛文集共收编了32ppt报告,已经公布在中国科学网“复杂网络论坛圈”上(请看:hettp//www.sciencene.cn/g/ComplexNets) 并且也发表在中国高等科学技术中心网站上(the CCAST-WL Webside(请看:www.ccast.ac.cn/workshop)这些报告内容丰富,各具特色,颇有创新,基本涵盖了近年来我国网络科学领域若干重要课题的研究进展和丰硕成果,课题研究颇有深度,不仅具有现实意义的重要课题(如甲型流感全球大爆发之经验统计及其传播模型),而且有前沿课题:生物神经网络系统的动力学与大脑网络,还有一系列重要课题:网络拓扑结构的动力学识别与估计、军事网络科学、网络科学在工程应用、多个体一致性、网络结构与动力学之间关系、同步-协同-中性稳定性和流型的稳定性、网络系统的协调动力学与控制、复杂网络的空间结构、连续系统和离散系统中的广义同步疾病免疫算法、网络节点匹配、电力网、供应链网、化工网、通讯网与保密通信,等等。

总之,整个网络科学论坛达到了预期的目标,实现了高水平、高效率和高收获。展望未来,我国网络科学在下十年发展,提出了“八个一挑战性课题”(请看:http://www.sciencenet.cn/m/user_content.aspx?id=281777),应用前景广阔。我们相信:通过“全国网络科学论坛”及“全国复杂网络会议”两大系列等网络会议,能够为全国网络科学的众多交叉领域的科学家、高校老师和研究生提供了广泛学术交流平台,进一步促进我国网络科学的发展和青年人才的成长。我国网络科学一定能够在下个十年为人类的文明与进步作出新的贡献。

本届论坛得到了中国高等科学技术中心的积极支持和资助,我们在此再次表示衷心的感谢!希望今后一如既往地得到贵中心的大力支持。

Summary on

“The 5th China National Forum on

 

Network Science”

     

“The 5th China National Forum on Network Science” was successfully held on December 21-23 2009 in Beijing, supported by The China Center of Advanced Science and Technology (CCAST)organized by China Institute of Atomic Energy and Institute of Methametics and System Science,Chinese Academy of Science. There are more than about 60 to 80 total participants, including researcher, professor, doctor, post-doctoral, graduate students and teachers.   

We have reached the goals, in which there are 3 subjects for this forum:

(1) To summary and review recent advances in Network Science;

(2) To discuss and review on “Science” Special issue on Complex Systems and Network in Scinece, Vol. 325, 405 (2009);

(3) To consult/discuss about activity of “Complex Network Forun Circle” from now on.

We think, the objects above were realized successfully. The features of the forum has the following points.

First, we adopt diversified forms of academic exchange, including invited lectures, general oral report, youth knowledge contents on network science and academic salon of special subjects.

Second, there are 15 invited lectures,17 general oral report and 31 titles of knowledge conpetition on network science. The subjects are fresh and prominent, fully exchange.

Third, the youth knowledge contents on network science and academic salon are of lively and rich in variety, as well as friendly exchange to each other. Disscussion on academic salon and debated about power-law of Space complex network and review on spaecial issue of “Science”power-law, talk up and reflect the spirit “ let a hundred schools of thought strive”.   

The whole PPT-reports of the Forum have put into “Complex Network Science Forum Circle” on Science Network in China (Please see:hettp//www.sciencene.cn/g/ComplexNets) and also appear on the CCAST-WL Webside (Please see:www.ccast.ac.cn/workshop). Main issues of the Forum are associated main subject of Network Science with application, including: review and outlook of network science ,spreading model of the H1N1 influenza virus,dynamics of neural network , brain functional networks,dynamics of topological structure, military network science with application, space structure of complex networks, community structure, ,stationary efficiency of coevolutionary networks, significance of community structure, ,relationshipe between structure and dynamics of complex network, generalized synchronization and control, consensus of multi-agent systems, evolutionary game and friendship network, spreading of epidemic based on human and animal mobility pattern, complex network engineerings, and so on.   

In brief, “The 5th National Forum on Network Science” have reached the preconcerted goal: high academic level, high efficiency and high acquisition(results).  

Looking into the future, we face “Eight Grand Challenge Problems” of Network Science, as pointed out in my lecture (Please see: http://www.sciencenet.cn/m/user_content.aspx?id=281777),  the subjects emerge in an endless stream, potential is of great application. We believe and expect that a series of the forum and the Chinese National Conference on Complex Network will promote and make much great progress in network science on our country. Chinese scholars have the ability to tend towards the world and made greater contribution to this field in next ten years.

We thank again and hope that the China Center of Advanced Science and Technology (CCAST) will continue to support the Chinese National Forum on Network Science just as in the past.
